The Next Evolution in Hand Speed Development!
I remember it like it was yesterday; the first time I saw a Bruce Lee movie, his hands were like lightning.
His speed seemed unreal.
Friends of mine who were martial arts enthusiasts were also impressed but thought while impressive. It had to be a trick of the camera where they sped up the action.
Yet, years later, I would see a number of old clips of Bruce Lee doing some impromptu demonstrations of his impressive speed. Over time, like most people, I would just chalk it up to the fact that he was naturally gifted.
How wrong I was…
Now, this is not to say that the man was not gifted because he was, and it would be unfair to claim otherwise (he also worked his butt off). However, I would later learn that not only were there other people who could move like that, but increasing hand speed was totally possible.
Origins of Fast Hands
In the early 1990s, I began training under Grandmasters John Perkins and Tim Carron.
During those years, three decades to be exact, I experienced how they could move at speeds that defied logic. The things they did were the stuff of movies and the most outlandish legends within the martial arts.
While they possessed many impressive skills, the one that stood out the most was their ability to move at speeds that seemed impossible. They could close distance to strike in the blink of an eye or do them at close range, nearly standing chest-to-chest with you.
They could perform feats with power and precision, with a high degree of dexterity and fine motor coordination that defied every conventional thought about how humans can move when facing danger.
They completely obliterated the false assumption that people can only move under duress at the “gross anatomy” level. Not only is this neuro-myth totally false, but the people who propagate it do so because they are incapable of moving in the fashion I am describing. They can’t see it in their minds, so the possibilities do not exist for them… they never even try to learn how to do it.
From their training, I observed the following:
- Everyone is relatively just as fast at close range
- Speed is a function of controlling your body
- The more natural the movement the more efficient it becomes
- Speed is just as much mental as physical
That said, over the years, I not only learned how to do this myself but eventually developed a training model that allows even people of average physical ability and size to develop these skills within their bodies.
After training thousands of people, I discovered that this ability has less to do with physical talent and more to do with developing the proper level of neural muscular coordination and efficient movement in people by training them through natural movement.
Now, this is not to say that talent is not a factor because, as with anything, if you are already blessed with a lot of physical talent, life can be a lot easier for you when it comes to physical tasks. However, I have seen that the only advantage a person born with a lot of natural talent is it may only shorten the process of improving hand speed. Yet, it does not necessarily correlate to the type of functional dexterous speed I am describing.
Much of this is because they tend to rely too much on their natural talents and less on the techniques to develop an efficient natural movement that seems supernatural to the person having to deal with someone properly trained in the skills I am discussing.
Also, what will they do if they encounter someone equally or more capable than they are?
This is a major thing because one of the biggest challenges people always bring to me is how to deal with someone who is bigger, stronger, and faster than them.
This is a very reasonable consideration because anyone with common sense and a little life experience understands that these things are a factor in a confrontation. Thus, the implementation of weight classes in sports fighting.
The Essence of Fast Hands
Understand that when you move fast, speed changes the movement of your body. As a result, one of the most significant challenges when developing speed is striking with accuracy and controlling the overcommitment of our hands and body. This is why I am often asked not only how to develop hand speed, but “coordination.” People get this.
In this program, we teach the core Warrior Flow concepts and techniques, which enhance hand speed and coordination and allow you to move and use your hands at seemingly supernatural speeds.
However, it is not supernatural, nor is it something out of reach for the average person to achieve. On the contrary, the skills contained in this course are totally available for those who desire them, provided they are willing to put in the effort to attain them.
You don’t need to be a high-level athlete or possess great physical strength; in fact, everyone who has gone through this training in our seminars and classes finds they are able to move in ways and at speeds they never dreamed possible.
The reason is simple, no one ever showed them the right things to do to attain it.
This training is based on the science of enhancing the two types of fast twitch fiber: Type II-a, which aids in rapidly applying explosive power, and Type II-x, which deals with pure speed.
You can increase your hand speed by developing the body’s neural muscular anatomy and the proper fiber types.
Also, you will increase your speed with the necessary coordination to move your hands accurately and efficiently at high speed.
This training course closes this gap, allowing you to develop the speed and power to move and strike effectively and efficiently from virtually any position.
This Warrior Flow concept is essential for anyone looking to improve their hand speed and coordination. By incorporating the techniques and exercises within the FAST HANDS COMBAT COURSE into your training regimen, you can take your martial arts skills to the highest levels.
“Attacks must be delivered with supernatural speed.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Imagine being able to strike with the speed of lightning….
To strike with power with effortlessly…
To move your body like the wind…
To move so efficiently that your attacker cannot move fast enough to deal with your actions…
The skills are simple in practice because they are functionally related to the type of movement necessary to strike with lethal power like a cobra.
However, this can only be achieved by practicing the skills outlined in the FAST HANDS COMBAT COURSE.
There is no magic to this; you will reap the rewards of your efforts to develop yourself.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, training in this Warrior Flow concept will enhance your skills exponentially.
